Question El uso de la palabra "hacer" en esta cita...

"No basta saber, se debe también aplicar. No es suficiente querer, se debe también hacer. Johann Wolfgang Goethe (1749-1832) Poeta y dramaturgo alemán."

Una amiga tiene esta cita en su Facebook "status". Mi traducción está: "It is not enough to know, you should also apply. It is not sufficient to love, you should also ....... " (Goethe, German poet and playright).

I don't quite know what to do with the "hacer" part. I mean, I have a vague understanding of the word "hacer", but apparently not enough of one to actually understand it in a sentence....

Is the rest of my translation correct? What about the "hacer" part?
