We use this structure "embriagado de" + (sí mismo, orgullo, felicidad, etc.) to describe people that show such an intense emotion that it seems they are intoxicated by the excess of it.
Particularly, "embriagado de sí mismo" depicts a person showing an extreme narcissism -pride, self-referencing, believing to be the centre of the universe-.
