Imperative confusion! Ayúdame!
So, I haven't been to find the proper endings for the imperative mood, but I'm starting to think that the imperative (mandatos) is interchangable with the imperfect tense? Is this true? If not, what are the ar, er, and ir endings for the imperative. I MUST know!

The imperative endings are nothing like the imperfect tense endings. The imperfect tense is never interchangeable with the imperative mood.
There are many posts and websites that can help you figure out how to conjugate the imperative mood. Plus, this forum has a verb conjugator. It can be accessed by selecting 'Conjugations' in the drop-down menu located in the upper left-hand corner of every page. Then enter the infinitive and press enter. The imperative mood conjugations are located at the bottom of the verb chart that is returned. Note that there are different affirmative and negative forms in the second person. You should also be aware that there are irregular imperatives. |
