Correo malinterpretado - misunderstood email

Hi all
some time ago I ordered a delivery for a spare piece. I received it, and payed it. Later, when I tried to use it, an internal piece was broken, due to bad mounting. I asked the providers to send me a new "internal" piece, and he sended me a quotation (with price) only to be sure that it was the correct piece.
I misunderstand the email and thought he wanted me to pay it.
I replied politely and he answered me that of course it was without charge.
I want to write a short email, only two lines, expressing my thanks and sorry for the misunderstanding.
Anyone can help me?
something like

"Thanks for your answer.
I beg your pardon, but I misunderstand the previous email.
best regards"

they are a good provider and I want to make it as proffesional/educated as possible (but no tooo much, they are not the royal family).

thanks
PD you can correct this text too

hi sosia - a small correction in the main text regarding the payment:
"...i recieved it and paid for it." (given that in spanish it's "lo pague".)

Thank you for your fast/prompt reply and good service. Please excuse my misunderstanding of your price quote when I needed to have the defective part ordered replaced. I will gladly use your services again should the need arise.
Best Regards.
