Swore is the same that promise.
For example. I swore to I never will come to hit you again. I promise you that I never will come to hit you again. Are those example like?

For example if I can say. Te juro que no ire a jeepear. Then I have to say. I swear you I won't go to jeepear. (This sentence is stronger than other one) I promise you I won't go to jeepear ( This sentence is less strong) I know that they are no the same, but I want to understand the winch one I have to use now instead of the other chose. I have seen that you have gotten better in your Spanish the last few days, I hope you continue so, because it's very important for your knowledge and your private life. I appreciate your help. Sincerely yours.

Swear - also means to use bad words.
p.e. - Why do you always swear when you are angry?
