"CBD is a natural chemical in marijuana that does not make you high."
What are different ways to say that a medicine or drug "makes you high"? For example, in english:
"CBD is a natural chemical in marijuana that does not make you high." I would say this with "emborrachar" because I can't think of another way, but is there a better way: "CBD es una sustancia natural en la marijuana que no te emborracha." My wife might say "que no te prende" but I'm not sure that's correct. i know there's lots of slang ways to say this, but I'm looking for a generic way that's universally understood. drogado = high (and, yes, there are slang ways to say it, just like 'high' is English slang)
In your sentence, since you used a verb, you could say, "... que no te droga." |

what about "no te dopa", would that be universally understood as "getting high"?

That means 'he/she/it drugs you', as far as I can tell.

Dopaje these days generally refers to steroids. Another possible term is intoxicar, but I think Rusty's suggestion is more accurate, because intoxicar implies poisoning. The active chemicals in cannabis aren't poisonous although they do impair.

It sounds like "CBD es una sustancia que no te droga" is probably the universal/generic way to say it.
