Reinaba is a conjugated form of the verb reinar, which means 'to reign.' The conjugation means 'you, he, or she reigned (in the past, but could still be reigning, or was in the process of reigning when the main idea of the sentence occurred).' Look here. You'll find it under the Imperfecto del Indicativo heading, third person (third row down).
Hope that helps. Welcome to the forums! Última edición por Rusty fecha: April 08, 2008 a las 10:39 PM |

Welcome to the forums!
In addition to what Rusty says, another easy way of thinking about it is: reinaba = was reigning
