Add your latest blog post under your username

Acabo de instalar una modificación de código que permite a los usuarios agregar el último post de su blog. Aparece abajo de su nombre de usuario. Si miras arriba verás un ejemplo en este mensaje abajo de mi nombre de usuario.

Así que si tienes un blog, inténtalo. Es muy sencillo. Simplemente copia la dirección del feed de tu blog y pégala en el campo llamado "Recent blog post" en tu perfil.

¡Eso es todo!

Avísame si encuentras algún error o problema con esto. Es un experimento, pero confío que todo funcionará bien.

I've just completed installing a plugin that allows all users to add their most recent blog post under their username on all their posts. You can see an example here on this post under my username.

So if you have a blog, go ahead and try this out.

Instructions:
1. Copy and paste the RSS (feed) location (URL) into the profile field called "Recent blog post" in your User CP and save it.

That's all! Maybe you wanted more steps... sorry to dissapoint but there's only one.

Let me know how it works or if you have any problems with it. It's still kind of experimental, but I think it should work correctly.

Hey that's pretty cool tomisimo! I'll have to get a blog to try it out, but I guess I havn't done the blog thing because it's too complicated and costs money. BTW, can you put a myspace blog into it?

Blogs don't have to cost money, you can get free ones at places like wordpress.com and blogger.com plus blogs really aren't complicated at all once you get the hang of it.

I'm not sure, do myspace blogs have RSS feeds? If they do, it should work.
