What you've written is an adjective in plural form.
Paladinesque (and perhaps other spellings) would be the British English equivalent. The adjective means something along the lines of 'with the flavour and some of the abilities of a paladin'. A paladin was a very brave knight, anciently. Today, there are fantasy games that mention paladin and paladinesque. |
