The Manner in Which........
What is the correct way to translate the manner in which in the following sentence:
The insurance claim was denied due to the manner in which it was submitted. El reclamo de seguro fue denegado debido a la forma en que se presentó. or El reclamo de seguro fue denegado debido a la forma en la que se presentó. Are both of these constructs correct/incorrect? Are there any other words translated incorrectly in the sentence? This is being directed to Mexicans/Central Americans. |

I'm not Mexican but la forma en que sounds more natural.

Both are frequently used, so to me, they're both fine.
And funny thing: to me, "la forma en la que" is grammatically better, but avoiding the repetition of "la" sounds more "elegant" for some speakers, so they will not use it.
