Homework help regarding the words "tener", "venir", "preferir", and "querer"

First, I want to thank all of you who come in and read my thread
The question below is far beyond from what we are currently learning due to the absent of my spanish teacher, however my teacher refused to change the due dates of this homework, therefore I need you guys help

Could you guys please help me out here? Thank you!

[Complete the following paragraph by with the correct form of tener, venir, preferir, and querer]

Mi día es muy interesante. En la mañana yo ___ que hacer la cama. En Chiapas hay muchos escorpiones y nosotros les ___ mucho miedo, por eso limpiamos muy bien todos los días. Hay una mujer simpática que ___ a mi casa para ayudarme a limpiar. Yo ___ pagarle cinco dólares por hora, pero ella ___ recibir libros y no dinero.

Después de limpiar la casa, los niños ___ a mi casa para leer libros conmigo. Ellos ___ leer libros de aventuras, pero yo ___ las novelas clásicas para ellos.

Por la tarde, yo ___ mucho calor. ___ tomar una siesta y no hacer nada. Por las noches, siempre me gusta salir y pasear por el pueblo.
