Merendar - To kill someone??
Doing endless verb conjugation with my teacher here in Ecuador and ran onto this.
merendar - Eat an afternoon snack or afternoon meal. Here on the Pacific coast they call the evening meal, "la cena", "la merienda" and don't use cena. It is just like English supper and dinner. BUT! The "Universidad De Chicago Dictionario also had merendar - to kill someone but I can't find any other reference. Comments? Thanks, Bob Ritter
