In Spanish, how would you say: DIY Tools and Materials?

In Spanish, how would you say: DIY Tools and Materials?

I think it would be "Herramientas y materiales para "hacerlo tú mismo""

Is this correct? Also, if it third person, then is 'tú' correct or is it too informal?

Would the formal version be"Herramientas y materiales para "hacerlo su mismo""?

Also is "hacerlo tú mismo" the correct term for DIY?
