I rest my case!
People,
I think that I could say, just in common parlance, "Con esto, está todo dicho", meaning I rest my case. ------------------- But then, there is legal jargon. I heard "La fiscalía se descansa". That would be, "the prosecution rests". Right? ------------- But how about "The defense rests"? How do you call "the defense" in Spanish? ----------- And what does "Abandono el caso" mean? Does that mean that the lawyer has decided to dump his client? Dean |
