The Manner in Which........

What is the correct way to translate the manner in which in the following sentence:

The insurance claim was denied due to the manner in which it was submitted.


El reclamo de seguro fue denegado debido a la forma en que se presentó.

or

El reclamo de seguro fue denegado debido a la forma en la que se presentó.


Are both of these constructs correct/incorrect?
Are there any other words translated incorrectly in the sentence?

This is being directed to Mexicans/Central Americans.
