Please, help
A group of mates and I are aware of Fukushima problems. There is a page in Japanese about microsieverts, but none of us speak Japanese. Would someone mind to translate what is written below the photos? This is the page.
Thank you very much. |

OK, Monday morning . I don't speak Japanese, but the figures in microsieverts look so random that my guess is they are measurements at particular locations. These levels of radiation are far too small to identify different biological effects and of course who believes the Japanese authorities anyway?
Put into context, these are millisieverts: Sleeping next to a human for 8 hours every night: 0.02 mSv/yr Smoking 1.5 packs/day: 13-60 mSv/year |

Sorry, translating.
Well, these are microsieverts/hour. A year = 8760 hours. I can't use google translator because they are in flash and I don't have Japanese keyboard . But I'd like to know what is written below. |

True, so 1 microsievert/hr = about 9 milliseverts/year, so smoking is about 1,5 to 7 microsieverts/hr.

But smoking is not compulsory... . And we don't know the nature of the particles. It is not the same I or Cs or Pu.

They are the names of different cities, I think. I see the characters for Tokyo written below one of them.
