Can someone tell me how you would translate "booked"? Ex: They (police) booked her. Thank you!

In American English booked means arrested.
In Spanish you may say en detención. But booked implies the registration so maybe fichado, but wait for a native speaker to comfim is fichado is OK. I know that en detención is acceptable.
