Ir tirando

@Alex: Look out. "Estamos tirando" is using the verb "estar", not "ser".

In Spain is "ir tirando"...

"Estamos tirando" sounds "odd" to an Iberian ear... ie... you can use it but NOT naturally in the sense of "getting along"...

Ah, I have just realized what you are saying. So I have to say "vamos tirando" and not "estamos tirando"? Is this it?
