Fabulous site for words in context
I happened upon this website today and thought it might be useful to some of you. The main link is http://www.linguee.es/
Choose a word, enter it, and you will get several sentences with that word - all sentences in both Spanish and English so that you can compare usages. Other helpful information in the left margin. Some screenshots follow. Each had many, many more examples than I was able to include in a single screenshot. The words I chose were "bromear", "agotado", and "almohada. See for yourself. I think it's kind of cool!
