Fuimos a ver la película pero no valió la pena.

Guys I think what this way of pronuonce this Fuimos a ver la película pero no valió la pena. it could be translate or another way for example.

We went to see the movie, but it do not like much to us.

At least is my point view.

Other way to say it.

We went to watch to the movie, but was very bored see it.

And, What do you opine above of my own way of translate the phrase.?
