Tour translation is good, but
A life full of twists and turns is close to Spanish, and it is used.

Robin, you could also say, "¡las vueltas que da la vida!" = "how things change!" or "life's full of ups and downs!"

De nada, Aprendo...
Yes, the Idioms section has a lot, and also Robin makes a lot of questions related to idiomatic expressions. I'd think that the best way to go about it, is to retain the idioms that you know very well in English, that are very similar in Spanish. You know, like "the cobbler should stick to his last" in Spanish is something like "zapatero, a tus zapatos" (literally, "shoemaker [cobbler], to your shoes") Which actually means the "same", i.e., stick to what you know let the cobbler stick to his last... The other thing, of course is to USE-USE-and-USE these idioms, and then use them some more... My mother used to have many sayings, so probably I got carried away following her trend... (De tal palo, tal astilla...) ¡Saludos cordiales!
