Question Grammar question

Hi there,

I have a question: can someone explain to me what the difference is between these two sentences: ''Al nino no le gustan las zanahorias.'' and ''El nino no gusta las zanahorias.''?

They seem to mean the same, but the sentences look very different.

Thanks!

The second one is incorrect.

The subject of the verb "gustar" is "zanahorias" and the indirect object of the verb is "niño".
You can see more on the verb "gustar" here.
