"We are not getting anywhere"
I am in a band that has been practicing weekly for several months, but I feel we aren't getting anywhere. We're stuck in a rut, not progressing or advancing.
How to say this in Spanish? "No estamos llegando a ningun lugar"? Is there a more accurate expression that uses or conveys the idea of lack of progress? |

You can also say no estamos progresando.
I don't know if there is an idiom in Spanish like in a rut or spinning our wheels.

Your proposal sounds unusual, but it would be understood.
I think I'd prefer "no estamos llegando a ningún lado". "Lado" makes the sentence flow a little better. I like Poli's proposal too; it's a clear statement. Some alternatives: - No vamos a llegar muy lejos. - No vamos a ningún lado. - No estamos avanzando nada. ...
