Just found this forum by accident!
I have been studying Spanish on my own and online on and off for maybe 15 years but never felt that I was getting anywhere. In January I booked myself into two weeks of Spanish lessons in Mexico, 3 hours a day. There was a real focus on speaking, and I found I knew a lot more Spanish than I thought, but my real weakness is listening and speaking. So now I am looking for good resources to hear spoken Spanish, hopefully a little more slowly than it's spoken in real life, at least at first. I have tried News in Slow Spanish but it's very boring. I'm looking for new ideas and I'm happy to have found this forum because I live in a very small town where there are no Spanish speakers or Spanish learners that I'm aware of.
