"Inhalar" or "Inspirar"
Hello!
I'm getting a tattoo in spanish, and I want it to say: "Inhale courage, exhale fear." There was a spanish translation on the internet that said: "Respira coraje, exhala miedo." But: "Respirar" means "to breathe", am I right? it does not mean "Breath in" or "Inhale"? I asked my spanish teacher and he suggested: "Inspira coraje, expira miedo". Now I am even more confused. What is the difference between "inhala" and "inspira"?? Which translation do you suggest? It is really important for me to fully understand its meaning, since I am getting a tattoo of it. Thank you |

I would use aspira instead of inhala. You are more likely to hear valor instead of coraje as a positive term for courage.

Use these together: inhala/exhala
Use these together: aspira/espira expira = die Note: Using formal command forms may be more appropriate. Note: valor may be used instead of coraje. Note: miedos may be used instead of miedo. Inhale coraje/valor Exhale miedo/miedos Aspire coraje/valor Espire miedo/miedos |
