Pharmacy, infection, antibiotics
Hey there,
I'm suffering from bladder infection and I'm in Buenos Aires right now. I don't want to go to the doctor first, because it's not necessary for me. I had this problem before in Peru. My question now is how to ask the pharmacist in spanish if they sell antibiotics without prescription and how to explain from what I'm suffering if he/she asks? I would be very thankful for fast help, Annalena |

The assumption, based on your history, is that the infection is caused by bacteria and that you have found an OTC antibiotic in the past (in Peru).
If you remember the name (brand) of the antibiotic, that would be helpful. The statement in parentheses is where you'd insert the brand name of the medicine you had in Peru.
