Permanecer / Quedar / Quedarse

What is the correct way to say "stays" / "remains" in the following example?

I'm in favor of this bill if it stays/remains as is.

Estoy a favor de este proyecto de ley si permanece tal cual.

Estoy a favor de este proyecto de ley si se queda tal cual.

Estoy a favor de este proyecto de ley si queda tal cual.

I guess I don't have a full understanding of permanecer, quedar, and quedarse and/or when to use each one of them, so I can't decide which to use in the example above.

Any help is appreciated.

AS a native speaker I would use the first one, being more formal than the other two.

Thank you, Robindesbois. From your comment, I understand that "permanecer" is the best verb to use in this case.

Are the other examples with "quedarse" and "quedar" also correct but just not your choice in this case, or are they incorrect?
