Suggestions for a model to copy
Since I live mostly in writing, I have always neglected speaking. The result is that I speak with a mixture of British and American intonations and pronunciations all seasoned with my Mexican accent, which I guess is perceived as a language murder by my English speaking friends (even if they're too polite to say it).
I've been doing some conversation exercises, but right now I need to read out loud a formal document. So I need your help please: Show me examples of news presenters who read with an intonation you like.

There are plenty of newscasters that speak American English well, but not all of them do. Listen to Lester Holt. His standard American English is flawless as far as I can tell https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q...C4B318D4E164F4
On the other hand Joe Scarborough's English is full of regionalisms. He frequently substitutes the short e for the short i. So, he will say pronounce the word any as iny. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/ms...too/vi-AAYpway

Thank you very much, Poli!
I'll listen carefully to both. I'll focus on intonation and rhythm for a start.

Of course, nobody actually speaks as perfectly as Lester, but we can aspire to it.

My foreign accent ruins everything, but I'm determined to improve. I think he's a great model to follow.

My New York accent does the same especially when I have a glass or two of wine
