higo - masculine noun (el) - fig. Look up higo in the dictionary ¿Para tí el higo es una fruta exótica? Figs are an exotic fruit to you?

In some South America sometimes they are referred to a brevas.
Incidentally in some South American countries (Argentina and Ecuador and maybe others) fresas are frutillas and aguacates are paltos.(Peru and Argentina maybe others too)
