Vista Ultimate Language Packs (Image Heavy)

This may not be accessible to everyone, but if you have the means it's a really neat feature. Windows Vista Ultimate allows you to switch the GUI to a number of languages. You can set a different language for each user profile as well. Here's how to do it.

First, you need the Ultimate edition of Vista. The others don't have this option.

Use Windows Update.

Select "View Available Updates"

Select the language(s) that you'd like to have as options and click Install.
Once it's downloaded and installed, you may need to log out and log back in for the language to appear.

Next, go to the control panel and select the circled option. I'm not sure what it is exactly in English, but it'd be something like Change Display Language.

You'll see this dialogue:

Select the language you want and click accept. This time you will have to log out and log back in for the change to take place.

Next time you're using your computer, Windows will display in Spanish (or whatever language you've selected). Good luck!

Nice tutoral! I'm not using Vista, so I can't take it for a test spin, but that sounds pretty nice. I often have trouble translating a few different user interface commands and such, and I have even visited a friend who has a Spanish language version of Windows XP to see how to say certain things in Spanish.

When/if I get Vista, I'll definitely come back and take a look at this thread.
