As a side note, it's interesting to note how learning a foreign language can influence your usage of your native language. I've seen it happen personally when I speak, but just today a friend who is originally from Mexico and living in the US said "Mejor tarde que nunca", which I'm pretty sure is a direct translation of the English "better late than never", since what I've heard when I'm in Mexico is "mas vale tarde que nunca".
