Missed the bus

Missed the bus

How would you say "I missed the bus" in Spanish?

In context. I was two minutes late and I missed the bus/plane/train, etc.

Perder el bús (autobús, microbús,ómnibus)

Perder la micro (Chile)

Perder el camión (Mexico)

Perder la guagua (Cuba)

Y no sé más.

De acuerdo con Hernán.

"To miss", en este caso, es "perder".

Por cierto, Hernán, acá diríamos "se me fue el camión", pero también hay "el/la micro", "el pesero", "la pesera".

@Poli: "Colectivo" se usa poco en la Ciudad de México. Quizás en otras regiones del país. Por cierto, sé que en Tijuana, se dice "calafia", pero no conozco más variantes.

No sabía que usaban colectivo también. En Chile un colectivo es un taxi que tiene un cierto recorrido, pero con el beneficio de que te lleva lo más cerca de tu casa posible, si no hasta la misma puerta.

@Hernán: Así es como lo he visto usado aquí. Pero como ya casi no hay ese servicio, sino en pequeños poblados de provincia, ya tiene mucho que no lo escucho.

Por cierto, una del Distrito Federal que sí se me olvidó: "la combi" (ya tampoco hay de ésas, pero mucha gente lo sigue usando para hablar de "las peseras").
