Yes, Sir. You can.
But you can also say, ‘Acato la orden del rey, pero no la cumplo’. (like 'respetar.) (1 tr. Tributar sumisión o respeto a una persona o a las órdenes, consejos, etc., que provienen de ella)
Or, ‘Un buen ciudadano acata las leyes’.
(2 Cumplir o estar dispuesto a cumplir órdenes, disposiciones, leyes, etc. I.e., obedecer, someterse.

Yes, you can.

cumplir = to comply

acatar = to obey

They are used pretty much the same in English as in Spanish.

I have other form to say that in Spanish.

Tengo la forma de hacer valer la ley.
That phrase is longer but it says almost the same that the first answer.

hacer valer la ley = to enforce the law
