No, no, no, no. No puedes decir eso de ninguna de las maneras. En todo caso:

"Tengo calor porque esa comida estaba picante"

Ah, I didn't understand the last word. Well, anyway it's a very impolite way of saying such things.

Gracias, pero espero que nunca necesito usar ese frase!

Edit: (I meant I hope I never have to use my phrase)

That would actually be a bit more than interesting... It's good you have understood exactly what it would mean though.

No, it would indicate that your grasp of Spanish was limited!

Please keep this thread on topic and don't insult others or it will be closed.

We are all learning a language to some extent, whether we're beginners or more advanced. There is no reason to put others down. If someone doesn't understand something, then explain where they went wrong. Thanks!

No biggie Tomisimo; sometimes it's hard to tell when someone is joking in forum posts. I'm quite use to being misinterpreted. The duel languages just adds to the confusion sometiems.

Angelica understood you, so did I.

Good to see that you can play with words and concepts.

That's my animator's brain for you; I'm always playing with words. For evidence, see my recent post in the 'Pantorrilla' word of the day thread. (A pun that I'm sure only works if you translate the Spanish to English).
