Now, shrieking is not the the same as neighing but I took it as such. Had to.
Maybe here "shrieking" means "neighing". I've studied that the adjective modifies the following noun. So a "white house" means "una casa blanca", and "people in a white house" would mean "gente en una casa blanca" (nothing to see withe the White House, of course )

I thought horses whinnied, but they probably neigh also. I'm no member of the horsey set. To whinny is the verb.

Wordreference says both neigh and whinny for "relinchar"

Both are correct, but different sounds. Anyway, I used to ride a lot, and I don't actually remember a horse being able to whinny or neigh when you are in motion, especially galloping. They have to toss their heads to do it, so they can't if a rider is in control. This would suggest that it is not the horses making the noise.

Edit: I now understand that the English is in no way a faithful translation of the Arabic anyway, so ignore this post. And 4000 BCE is very hard to believe.

I've made a search and I've seen that the older documents written were from 3.300 a.C.

¿Exactamente cuándo fue 4000BCE? ¿Alrededor 2000BC? Ese hombre pudo escribir bueno por ese tiempo

4000BCE = 4000 B.C. I don't believe it, apart from which you never know to what extent the translation has improved or spoiled the original, even assuming anyone can read really ancient Arabic with confidence.

Sí , de 4000BC me espero algo así "man go on horse man hunt", pero quizás los cavemen fueron más inteligentes que pensemos

Well... no él

Sobre todo si eran escrituras cuneiformes o jeroglíficas
