A lot of people in Mexico work one day to earn $9.15 USD, although $12-15 per day might be closer to an average. In most areas, a $500/month job is excellent. The good thing is the cost of living is a lot lower than in the States.

US economy is already impacting foreign economies. The exchange rate has been around $10 to a peso but in the last day or two has jumped to $12. My workers are thrilled.
