Basically what I was trying to say is this; If she only doesn't like them because of their size, then she probably thinks you spend too much time reading. But it could just be that she thinks reading too much fantasy is a waste of time, or that you shouldn't spend time "living in a fantasy world" or whatever.

Fantasy literature has been around for a long time. But in the early 1900's in America (1910's? 20's? I'm not a huge history buff), when sci-fi and detective novels and the like started to become popular, there were many people that thought that stuff was juvinile and a waste of time. It's not real, so why read it? Maybe that's how she feels.

I don't read that much, because the books I love/want to read are not at my library. I LOVE fantasy.

I agree with Fazor perhaps you waste much time reading fantasy books.

There is the problem you waste much time in your fantasy jijijij.

*I* don't think there's anything wrong with it. I love to read. But I've met people who think it's a waste of time, the same as watching television.

yes, there are people who say that. Some people say reading is a waste of time, some say HOMEWORK is a waste of time, school is a waste of time, etc.
watching TV isn't that bad, though, if it's educational :/ oops, off the subject
