I had written 'would' but I preferred 'will', because I didn't want to use the conditional, but the future.

Good question:

Will is ambiguous, and can mean 'would', so:
Will you go to London tomorrow? - future
Will you repeat it one hundred times? (tomorrow) - future
Will you repeat it one hundred times? (=would you do it now?) - present
