Payaso

This is a discussion thread for the Daily Spanish Word for December 14, 2009

payaso (masculine noun (el)) — clown. Look up payaso in the dictionary

¡Oye! No seas payaso, dame mi libreta.
Hey! Don't be a jerk, give mi my notebook.

There were clowns at the party to keep the kids busy.

And you can also say: "...en fiestas de niños". That gives a more general idea of any children party.

In general I hate clowns, but I used to love them. Remember?

http://seronoser.free.fr/payasos/
