1 ser to be (essential/permanent quality)
2 estar to be (health, location, state)
3 tener to have
4 hacer to do, make
5 poder to be able, can
6 decir to say, tell
7 ir to go
8 ver to see
9 dar to give
10 saber to know

Can somebody please give me some examples of things people would say using the following verbs,preferably a question and answer, muchas gracias mis amigos,aprendeme esta noche

aprendeme ( i will learn)? ? estar corecto ( is that correct) muchas gracias el foros ( thanks very much forum)

Apréndeme ( i will learn) (This is imperative mood for second person singular, saying "learn me"--it sounds like Alice's "eat me/drink me") ? ? ***(make sure to never forget opening question and exclamation marks) estar (you need to conjugate the verb for third person singular) corecto ( is that correct) muchas gracias, el foros ( thanks very much forum)

1)
--¿De dónde eres? (Where are you from)
--Soy de México. / Soy mexicana. (I'm from Mexico. / I'm Mexican.)

--¿Cómo es tu casa? (What is your house like?)
--Mi casa es pequeña. (My house is small.)

--¿Juan y tú son amigos? (Are you and Juan friends?)
--No, (Juan y yo) somos hermanos. (No, we are siblings.)


2)
--¿Cómo estás? (How are you?)
--(Estoy) muy bien, gracias. ¿Y tú? (I'm fine, thank you. And you?)

--¿Dónde están mis libros? (Where are my books?)
--Están sobre la mesa. (They are on the table.)

--¿Cómo está la comida? (How is the food?)
--(La comida) está deliciosa. (It's delicious.)

3)
--¿Tienes hermanos? (Do you have siblings?)
--Sí, tengo una hermana y dos hermanos. (Yes, I have one sister and two brothers.)

--¿Qué tienes? (What's happening to you?)
--Tengo fiebre. Creo que estoy enfermo. (I have a fever. I think I'm sick.)

--¿Tienes tiempo de ir al cine? (Do you have time to go to the movies?)
--Sí, hoy tengo el día libre. (Yes, today it's my free day.)

--¿Tienes dinero para pagar? (Do you have money for paying?)
--Sí, tengo cien pesos. (Yes, I have 100 pesos.)

4)
--Pedro, ¿ya hiciste la tarea? (Pedro, have you already done your homework?)
--Sí, mamá. Ya la hice. (Yes mom, I have.)

--¿Me puedes hacer un favor? (Can you do me a favor?)
--No, yo no hago favores. (No, I never do any favors.)

--¿Podemos hacer unas galletas? (Can we make some cookies?)
--Sí, también podemos hacer panqués. (Yes, we can also make some cupcakes.)

--¿Tú hiciste estas pulseras tan bonitas? (Did you make these beautiful bracelets?)
--Sí, las hice ayer. (Yes, I made them yesterday)


5)
--¿Por qué no puedes comer carne? (Why can't you eat meat?)
--Porque el médico dice que me puede hacer daño. (Because the doctor says it can be harmful for me.)

--¿Por qué cerraste la puerta? (Why did you shut the door?)
--Porque el perro del vecino puede entrar. (Because the neighbour's dog may/can come in.)

--¿Puedo ayudarte? (May I help you?)
--Yo puedo sola, gracias. (I can do it myself, thank you.)

--¿Qué es ese ruido? (What's that noise?)
--Es el bebé, que ya puede abrir la puerta. (It's the baby, who is able now to open the door.)

6)
--¿Cómo te llamas? (What's your name?)
--Me llamo María, pero mis amigos me dicen Mari. (My name is María, but my friends call me Mari.)

--¿Me puedes decir de nuevo cómo te llamas? (Can you tell me again what your name is?
--Sí, pero es la última vez que te lo digo. (Yes, but it's the last time I'll tell you.)

--¿Por qué dices mentiras? (Why do you tell lies?)
--Porque si digo la verdad, no me crees. (Because if I tell you the truth, you don't believe me.)

--Juan me dijo que ustedes no son hermanos. (Juan told me you aren't siblings.)
--No sé por qué dijo eso. (I don't know why he said that.)


7)
--¿A dónde vas? (Where are you going?)
--Voy al dentista. (I'm going to the dentist.)

--¿Fuiste ayer a trabajar? (Did you go to work yesterday?)
--No, no fui porque estaba enfermo. (No, I didn't go because I was sick.)

--¿Vamos a comer? (Shall we go out for lunch?)
--Sí. ¿Vamos al restorán de siempre? (Yes. Are we going to the usual restaurant?)

8)
--¿Viste el vestido de Rosa? (Did you see Rosa's dress?)
--No, no lo vi, pero vi los horribles zapatos de Mauricio. (No, I didn't, but I saw Mauricio's awful shoes.)

--¿Usas anteojos para ver? (Do you use glasses to see?)
--Sí, tengo astigmatismo y no veo bien. (Yes, I have astigmatism and I can't see well.)

--¿Qué se puede ver desde la azotea? (What can one see from the roof?)
--Se puede ver toda la ciudad. (One can see the whole city.)


9)
--Mamá, ¿me das dinero para comprar un helado? (Mom, can you give me some money to buy an icecream?)
--No, porque ya te di dinero para que compraras dulces. (No, because I already gave you money to buy candy.)

--Señorita López, ¿me puede dar su examen? (Miss López, can you give me your exam?)
--Deme otros cinco minutos, por favor, profesor. (Give me another 5 minutes please, professor.)

--¿Ustedes me pueden dar información turística? (Can you give me tourist information?)
--Sí, le podemos dar mapas y folletos. (Yes, we can give you maps and flyers.)


10)
--¿Sabes quién fue al cine conmigo? (Do you know who went to the movies with me?)
--Supe que saliste con Arturo. (I got to know you went out with Arturo.)

--No sé cómo resolver este problema. ¿Tú sabes? (I don't know how to solve this problem. Do you?)
--No, yo tampoco sé. (No, I don't know either.)

--¿Alguien sabe cómo se llama el presidente de Pakistán? (Does anyone know what the President of Pakistan's name is?)
--No, no sabemos cómo se llama, pero sabemos que podemos encontrar su nombre en internet. (No, we don't know, but we know that we can find his name on the net.)
