Thanks guys!

Jane, A MENUDO as you have guessed means often. Menudo in the expression you have quoted would be translated as What a wonderful car! It expresses admiration. It might also have a different meaning in another context: Es muy menudo= he's very small. Una menudencia is something unimportant.

La frase a menudo quiere decir 'often'. Fíjate que la frase no contiene 'l'.
El adjetivo menudo quiere decir 'thin/slight (said of a person) or small/tiny (said of a thing)'.
(What a beautiful car!)

Menudo means a lot of things. Carribean people use it to mean small change. Example:" ¿Tienes menudo? Quiero comprar chicle." They also
use it to mean, as Rusty wrote, tripe stew like mondongo or menudencia.
