Uso de (of adjetivo-sustantivo)

Uso de (of adjetivo-sustantivo)

"A glass of water."
Traducción:Un vaso de agua.

Estudio ingles y En clases anteriores me explicaron algo de que el adjetivo va antes del sustantivo: Ejemplo 'a train station'. ¿sirve: 'A water glass.'? porque se puede usar: "A glass of water."? porque y cuando se usa: 'of' y va 1ro sustantivo?.
