To be honest, I've never heard "guijarro" used by a native speaker (Mexican). My dictionary does have it though, so it must be so. I'd say "piedritas", I think it'd be a lot more common. But yes, the word is with G not Q. Would you like me to change your username?

It's guijarros, like Tomisimo says. It's very common in Spain. Its usually a little stone who has polish surface ( usually was eroded by water ). Guijarro, plural guijarros.
