Question Jpeg

JPEG: JPEG stands for “Joint Photographic Expert Group” and, as its name suggests, was specifically developed for storing photographic images.

I don't know if there is an 'official' translation for this digital photography term. If you know of any, please, let me know. Otherwise, your feedback on my Spanish translation of the English definition will be greatly appreciated.

Joint Photographic Expert Group
Grupo Mixto/Combinado de Expertos en la Fotografía

Hallo lo mismo frase aquí: http://www.internetslang.com/JPEG.asp

Su exacto frase: JPEG is an acronym for “Joint Photographic Expert Group” and, like its name suggests was specifically developed for storing photographic images.
What is JPEG?

JPEG is "Joint Photographic Experts Group or Image file format"
