Hoy esta la dia!!!
Hola!
En Ingles.... I havent spoken spanish in a very long time, maybe 10 years when I lived with my aunt and uncle who taught me. I am here to hopefully pick it all back up. Maybe I can learn with someone one on one through email or text. I know the alphabet and the numbers for the most part and general introductory to conversation. I am new to this site so i will search around and see what else I can do. Thanks to all who read this |

Estoy en mi casa en California ahora, y tú? ¿De dónde eres? Where are you from? ¿Dónde vives? Where do you live? En qué ciudad/estado/pais vives? In what city/state/country do you live in? BTW Ese, generalmente when a Spanish words end in the letter "a" it is femenine and needs the feminine article la. But there are exceptions such as el dia. Also el problema, el programa etc. and then the reverse with la foto=the picture. But la fotografía which follows the rule. Modelo can be either masculine or feminine when referring to a human model, but masculine in other uses (such as when referring to a model airplane). Words whose meaning vary depending on the gender. For example, in some areas, la radio means "radio," while el radio means "radius" or "radium." Sometimes la radio is used to refer to the communications medium and el radio for a radio set. Some masculine words that come from Greek end in -a (often -ma). Most of these words have English cognates. (A cognate is a word that can be recognized in both languages.) Oh, and how about: El agua está fría. The water is cold.

De nada Ese. Don't worry so much sbout speaking Spanish at first.
It's more important to just listen and study Spanish at first. Once you understand Spanish the words will just flow out of your mouth like magic. The other thing you can do though is read Spanish out loud. Step back and take a look at oral reading differently. It is one if not the best ways to improve your Spanish speaking. Hola, bienvenidos. I am also new to the forum. Soy estudiante y vivo en California.
Voy a tratar de visitar el foro cada día. Aprender un idioma requiere que practiques a diario, y leer se ayuda definitivamente. ¡Buena suerte! I'm going to try to visit the forum once a day, learning a language takes daily practice, and reading definitely helps. Good luck! |
