The first person singular, simple future tense of comer is comeré. You used the "near future" form, which consists of a conjugated form of 'ir', plus 'a', plus 'infinitivo'. This form is commonly used, but it isn't the equivalent of the English future tense ('will eat').

Thanks...I suppose I could add in " I ate" in the imperfect tense, as in " When I was young, I always ate meatloaf" .....yes?

also...if I say ..."It WAS 2:00....." when something happened, is WAS = Era?

Yes, you can add the imperfect tense to your list of known conjugations of comer.

Yes, for one o'clock. For two o'clock, it's eran las dos.
