Question Change one's tune

To change one's tune
To change/ alter your attitude or approach.

Anyone know a good Spanish equivalent for this?

Perhaps these start getting at the meaning:

hacer un cambio drástico
arrepentirse
retractar(se)
renunciar a algo

cambiar de tono . Or this is a false friend? I mean we say cambiar de tono, when somebody´s voice is getting a little bit annoying, we say cambia de tono por favor, because he is shouting.

I don't know if it's used internationally but among Dominicans the term is
cambiar la vaina.
No sigues con esa vaina is a very common expression. Do you hear it in
Mexico and Spain?
