The RAE says (amongst many other things) in the definition for "arca" that there is a saying: "arca llena y arca vacía" which is defined "Alternativa de abundancia y escasez de dinero o de otras cosas."

Does this mean something like "alternating between abundance and scarcity of material things"?

I especially smiled because I think that you must have changed your post to add the second part between the time that I clicked on the link to the page and the time that I clicked on "quote" ... did you? Because I only saw the first on the page, but when I clicked "quote", I saw "now you see it, now you don't" and THAT was weird! When I clicked "back", my browser used the cached page, so it still didn't say "now you see it now you don't", and this happened a couple of times before I decided to reload the page from scratch when I finally actually saw it in your post.

SOOOOoooo, REALLY, now I see it, but then I didn't.

Besides ... I almost always smile at your comments!
