Future-tense

I soon have a spanish test at my school, where we are going to write a lot in future-tense. I'm terrible at spanish, to say the least. I think I'll try write a paragraph in future tense every day untill the test, but I need someone to look over them and tell me what I'm doing wrong. Could you look over what I've written? Its not much. What can I do to improve my spanish?

Mis planes para el futuro

Yo quiero ser un psykolog cuando graduaré, porque quiero aliviaré otros que tienen problemas cuando sea major. La verdad es que tuve agobio, yo mismo. Deseo aprenderé sobre yo mismo también.

The future tense in English is done two ways: I/you/we/they will.. and I am/ you are going to...
The use of the future tense in you sentences is incorrect.
Try to write a sentence in Spanish with I will in mind. For instance: Mañana iré a la ciudad. Voy a ver una película.

Hi Gaige,

Adding to what Poli mentioned: When you have English phrases like "I want to be" and "I want to learn", the infinitives in these (here "to be" and "to learn") will also be written in infinitive form in Spanish: "Quiero ser" and "Deseo aprender". (Notice "ser" and "aprender" are not conjugated.)

If you want to place a future condition on a situation with "when/cuando", like "I will write my paper when I get up tomorrow", the present subjunctive is used in the when-clause in Spanish: "Escribiré mi artículo cuando me levante mañana." (You could also say "Escribo mi artículo cuando me levante mañana." or "Voy a escribir mi artículo cuando me levante mañana.")

"When I grow up" => "Cuando sea mayor"

Also, try to remember personal "a" when talking about people: "...quiero aliviar a otros...".

Best wishes on your test!
