Sobra una t, falta una t

How can we say sobra una t and falta una t in a word, in English?

My take (let's see what natives say...)

There is an extra "t" in the word.

The word is missing a "t".

JPablo's suggestions are great.

You're missing a 't'.
You've got too many t's.

Sorry to be a bit off topic, but when a word has too many "L"s in it you can say "We need to get the L out of here."

I was wondering what the "L" was Glen meaning with his statement...
Then I remembered the "L-bent for leather" expression... and everything made sense...
